This Aircraft is particularly special as it exists as a complete, original aircraft exactly as it was when in last flew in the 1950's, and during the war. a US consortium then purchased the airframe and finally it returned to the UK where it has only recently been released as a restoration opportunity. for over 40 years thereafter it was used as a gate guardian in various bases in Burma. The aircraft was finally delivered to No1 Squadron ubaf in Mingaladon, Burma in February 1955, but only a few months after arriving it suffered a forced landing and was struck off charge. Rather than shipping them the eight aircraft that made up the burmese contract were flown the entire way with ML119 being ferried by famous A.T.A pilot Jackie Moggridge.
